A travel website to help you plan your next holiday.
Our goal is to inform and inspire curious Brits who want something more from their holidays. We are big fans of ‘holidaying at home’ right here in the UK, but also love popping across the channel or down to Spain for a week or two in the sun.
How do you like to travel?
One reason we started this website was to fight back against the huge number of websites out there that tell you how you should be travelling. The vast majority of travel bloggers fall into this category.
Unless you love to backpack through Europe staying in the cheapest of dusty hostel dorms, you’re unlikely to get a great deal of information that’s relevant to you. And those bloggers who are jaunting off around the world funded by ads on their blog? That’s great for them, but you are not about to follow in their footsteps.
A website for the average Joe
This website is aimed at the average British traveller who every year loves to take a week or two in the sun, maybe a quick city break or two, and then wants to make the most of their weekends at home in the UK.
Our articles fall into two categories: They are written to inform, or they are written to inspire. Both kinds of article have plenty of images to mix things up, and provide context to the words. Some articles are designed to inform and inspire!
Welcome to the club
So if you’re the kind of Brit who loves to travel abroad and/or at home, and wants to make the most out of your limited holiday days, you’re in the right place.
Start by joining the British Traveller Club. It’s free, and each week we’ll send you an email with the best travel articles from the past seven days – including ones we haven’t written!
